Brand Design Lead
About TinyWins
We started small. One client at a time. Feeling by feeling. Those early triumphs were the stepping stones that built our momentum.
As a remote-first team, we tackle brand strategy, verbal and visual identities, web design and development, and growth marketing. Every project starts with one question: how do we want people to feel?
The Role
We are hiring a Brand Design Lead who can find a brand's visual voice and turn it into a system people recognize at a glance. You'll lead identity work from the first moodboard to the final guidelines.
The Offer
- A lead role on identity and brand design projects for ambitious clients, with creative direction on your side of the table.
- A remote-first team that works fast, shares context and trusts you to run your lane.
- Close collaboration with strategists, copywriters, digital designers and creative leadership.
- Project-based engagements with full-time hours, and a path to more work as projects grow.
- Rate based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual identity projects, from exploring distinct visual territories through to one final direction.
- Design logo marks, typography, color, imagery and graphic systems that fit the brand's Big Feeling.
- Evolve existing identities with a light touch when the foundation is strong, or push them further when it isn't.
- Write and design brand guidelines that teams can use without calling you.
- Extend the identity across touchpoints such as web, presentations, fundraising and sales decks, and print.
- Present concepts to clients and guide them toward the strongest idea.
- Direct and review the work of supporting designers.
- Work with strategy and copy so the visuals carry the story.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in brand and identity design, at a studio, agency or independent practice.
- A portfolio that shows strong typography, systems thinking and ideas that go beyond a logo.
- Experience delivering complete identity systems and brand guidelines.
- Skill with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Comfort presenting work to clients and defending your decisions with taste and reason.
- Experience guiding other designers.
- Bonus: motion and presentation design, experience translating a brand into digital, and a love of good photography.
