Noble Machines Forging a new standard for industrial robotics
Challenge
Noble Machines (formerly Under Control Robotics) is building rugged, industrial humanoid robots designed to take on the dirty, dangerous, and declining jobs that keep critical industries running. As the company evolved beyond its early identity, it needed a strong brand to reflect the scale of its ambition and the seriousness of its technology. Our challenge was to develop a name, visual identity, and digital presence that matched the grit of the hardware — positioning Noble Machines as a credible force in Physical AI built to support human teams across construction, mining, and energy.
Solution
Noble Machines became the foundation for a new brand — a name built to carry the weight of the company’s ambition and clearly signal its role in industrial robotics. It reflects strength, purpose, and a commitment to supporting the work that keeps critical industries running. To translate that ambition into a credible brand system, we grounded the visual direction in the realities of the industries these robots are built to serve. Rather than leaning into futuristic aesthetics, we positioned Noble Machines in a more pragmatic space — where advanced AI meets the physical demands of construction, mining, and energy. The visual identity draws from the clarity and reliability of industrial documentation. Strong typographic hierarchy, structured layouts, and a restrained graphic language create a sense of precision and authority, while a core graphic idea inspired by bolts and rivets reinforces the brand’s role as dependable industrial infrastructure built to support and work alongside human teams. This thinking carries through to the website, designed to prioritize clarity over spectacle. The result is a brand and digital experience that feels grounded, credible, and built for real-world deployment.
